Two things I am getting good at. Going potty and picking my nose!!

I am keeping this blog going so someday I will make it into a Book for Avea. She will love this picture up at her Graduation party. I just had to.

Avea is now pretty much fully potty trained. We still do sleeping diapers, but those even come off dry. It sometimes makes me crazy. It is one more thing to stall with, when trying to go to bed. She hasn't been to bed before 10 this week. Last night it was 12 and tonight 11. Then the next day she is a big ole Crank.

The stalling begins even before we brush her teeth. "out Kitchen MaMa" "out Kitchen Mama" then we go out there. She looks in the cuboards until I make her make a decision on what kind of junk she wants. Then she takes her time eating it. Then we, as in both of us have to brush her teeth. Her first, then my turn. Remember it takes forever to spit the toothpaste. Then we have to pick a book to read. This takes forever. Then I read the book. Then she has to climb on the heater to shut the light off. First she touches the cross says "Love you Jesus" Makes the sign of the cross. "God Fadder son holy sprit" (that's how it sounds). THen she turns the light on then off then on then off until I get up. Then we start with a prayer. "Pray for Aunt Buddy, Bama, Gampa, Nana, Da Da, DuDU, Aunt Dinnana, I like Eric, Aunts Uncas and cousins, Kiss keiko" "Potty MaMa" so we go take her to the potty. She goes, I put her jammies back on. We start singing songs. "PooPoo MaMa" All the jammies come off. She sits, she grunts, she does not go. SHe screams while I put her diaper back on, the jammies again. We go into her room, She says "rock ,minute mama" so we rock. We sing some more, I put her in bed. 30 minutes later I hear talking. I go up there she says water. So I go get her water. Next she says Elmo lippers, so I put them on her. I leave. The screaming begins!! POO POO POO POO POO POO What do I do with that. I go back up there put her on the pot. She SITS She SITS she Sits for about 10 minutes. Finally I pull her off put her diaper, and jammies back on, She is SCREAMING. I put her back in bed. SCREAMING!! "Kleenex Poo Poo Kleenex Poo Poo Kleenex over and over for about 10 minutes. I go back up there with Kleenex. We blow her nose. It is now 11:30. And she is FINALLY SLEEPING. THis has been going on for a full week.

Then tomorrow comes and someone is tired and cranky. And that is why someday she will see these pictures and be soooo mad. And then I will SMILE.

She has been working on potty training for a few months now. Actually since she was about 20 months old, she was telling me potty. She was ready, BUT we weren't. She had kind of quit trying for a while. But today I thought, lets try Panty's. Only one accident all day. SHe did wear a diaper for her nap though. Looks like this week is going to be the week. (as of right now). She thought EE EE should go on the potty too.

She says "Let's cuddle DA DA". It doesn't last all too long. But just hearing her say it is enough to make your heart crumble.
